Le Veniec, Ile de l'Arber.

West of the town Crozon at the village Le Veniec is the island Ile de l'Arber. The island can be reached via an exit of the D887 near the village Tal ar Groas towards the beach. Park at the parking place and walk the last part by foot. Be aware of the high and the low-tide!!

Lots of lighter bunkers have been built at this location. Regular Tobruk's, Tobruk for mortar and a VF observation post. An old French fortress is still present with a nice emplacement, that probably has been re-used by the Germans. On the beach remain some 'Tetraeders' or tank-obstacles.

Le Veniec, Plage de l'Arber.

West of the town Crozon at the village Le Veniec is a beach section near the island Ile de l'Arber that can be reached via an exit of the D887 near the village Tal ar Groas towards the beach.
The bunkers can be reached easily from the parking place and the dunes. The bunkers lie on the west side of the 'Plage de l'Arber.

Lots of smaller works have been build at this location; several Tobruk's of which one has been build on poles(?) and three Vf. shelters for personnel.
